A decade of doing, not advising.

KD Hanna is the consulting side of ten years spent walking into early-stage and high-growth companies and building the operational backbone from the inside: supply chain, fulfillment, vendor and 3PL networks, inventory controls, ERP and WMS implementations, and the KPIs that make growth repeatable instead of lucky.

I’ve built that backbone inside venture-backed startups across telehealth, FDA-regulated medical devices, DTC manufacturing, and logistics. The work at Ro is the headline — scaling a national distribution network from 2 to 11 fulfillment centers in under three years, maintaining 90%+ OTIF throughout, starting from a system my team built in a spreadsheet. The through-line everywhere else is the same: sourcing stood up from scratch, supplier OTIF moved from 87% to 95%, expedited shipping cut from 23% to 6%, and a new regional market launched from nothing.

What sets the work apart

An MPH in Healthcare Management plus real-time experience in regulated, clinical, and international supply chains — not just clean e-commerce. That combination matters when the stakes are higher: compliance requirements, cold chain logistics, serialization, import/export complexity. These are the categories where most consultants stop short.

How I engage

If you’re past the point where founder-led operations can carry the next stage of growth, that’s exactly the gap I close — as a fractional or full-time operating partner. The model is flexible; the standard is not.

Engagement models

Flexible model. Non-negotiable standard.

Built for companies that need senior operational leadership without a full-time hire — or that need one.

Fractional operating partner

Embedded supply chain leadership on a part-time basis. Right for companies that need senior ops judgment without a full-time head of supply chain — typically 10–20 hours per week with full strategic ownership.

Full-time operating partner

Full commitment for companies at an inflection point — a new market launch, a scaling event, a broken operation that needs rebuilding. Scope and duration defined by what the business actually needs.

Past the point where founder-led ops can carry the next stage?

That’s exactly the gap I close. Let’s talk about what that looks like for your business.
